Course Information
Our classes are on Mondays and Thursdays from 5pm until 9pm. We are a 16 week program. Our first session begins January 6, 2025.
Rock Hill Dental Assisting Academy will be taught in a facility that has state of the art equipment. We will bring assistants into the new millennium by teaching using real world technology. Many offices are moving towards digitizing procedures as well as administration offices. The courses are offered in the evening to give students the opportunity to still work full times jobs.
Our program is designed to train a student to be proficient with all of the duties of a dental assistant.
The Student Will Learn:
- Infection control and sterilization
- Taking vitals and documentation with patients
- Student will learn radiology and x-ray techniques and receive a radiology certificate
- Dental vocabulary and tooth numbering
- Dental anatomy
- How to assist with the various procedures in dentistry including, restorative, crown and bridge, endodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry
- Impression Techniques
- Crown and Bridge Procedures
- Coronal polishing and sealants
- Patient education
- Administrative duties

- Digital X-Rays
- Handheld X-Ray Devices
- Intraoral Scanner
- CBCT
- 3D Printer and Milling Machine
Total Cost of Dental Assisting program:
Registration Fee $100
Tuition: $4,200
Text Books: $250
Miscellaneous Supplies: $100 (Includes uniform)
Total Program Costs: $4,650
We offer financing options through Fortify
Registration fee is due on the same day as the enrollment packet to secure your spot. The total amount of $4650 must be paid prior to student receiving course certificate(s). Cancellation and refund policy will follow the same format as discussed in the Catalog and Enrollment Agreement.
Note: Third-party loans must be repaid according to the terms of the note even if the borrower does not complete his or her education, cannot get a job after completion of the program, or is dissatisfied with the education.
